Curious how Midwest Millwork & Casework, LLC got started?
Originally operating as Creative Laminates, Inc., our company has been in business since 1989. We became the current owners in 2015 and changed the name to Midwest Millwork & Casework, LLC. The ringleader of our business is Joe Neitzel, a long-time employee of the company.
He had a vision of growing the business by listening to the needs of every single customer and providing them with the highest quality products. Just as importantly, he wanted to make sure each person at the company felt valued, had the opportunity to share their ideas and was recognized for a job well done. Also, he is now able to choose the office coffee.
So, in 2015 when there was an opportunity to purchase the company – he knew he had to find a way to make it happen. Like many new entrepreneurs, it can be tough to navigate this process on your own.
He did what any smart person would do, and enlisted the help of his family and friends to realize his dream. This business venture has truly become a family affair with his wife, Nancy, and sons Nick and Adam at the helm (Brandon and Dylan try to pitch in too). It has not been easy, but to have built a successful and thriving business together has been a huge accomplishment.
Certainly, we have not made it this far alone. We are so grateful for every team member who has been with us on this journey – thank you!
We hope that when you work with us, you can see firsthand the passion we have for our company, our customers and our team.
